Astilbe 'Burgundy Red'

Common Name: Hybrid Astilbe, False Spirea

Dark red scapes carry raspberry colored buds which open to rich burgundy red, triangular flower plumes in early to midsummer.  As the flowers age, they turn a vibrant shade of fuchsia.

Glossy, deep green, finely dissected leaves form a nice clump in the landscape.
