Hemerocallis 'Inkheart' PP32364

Common Name: Daylily

One look at this beautiful daylily and you'll see why it got its name. Each creamy yellow flowers has a crisp, dark purple eye (or "heart") with a matching picotee edge. As an added bonus, this is a rebloomer, so you can enjoy these flowers well into late summer.

Daylilies can survive many harsh conditions that other plants cannot including: polluted city environments, slopes, poor and dry soils, near pavement that is salted in winter, and under Black Walnut trees (not affected by juglone).

Characteristics (Compared to Other Daylilies)
  • Late Midseason Bloomer, blooming in late July.
  • Rebloomer, producing a second set of flowers.
  • Fragrant flowers.
  • Dormant foliage.
  • Tetraploid with 44 chromosomes, twice as many as Diploids. Tetraploids tend to be bigger, stronger plants.
