Common Name: Daylily

  • 6", pink tepals with rose veining, golden yellow eye, and pale green throat
  • Broad, nearly round petals and pointed sepals are deeply ruffled
  • Wide, slightly recurved form
  • Large blooms on a small plant makes this one great for containers
  • Foliage is evergreen in most climates

Daylilies can survive many harsh conditions that other plants cannot including: polluted city environments, slopes, poor and dry soils, near pavement that is salted in winter, and under Black Walnut trees (not affected by juglone).
