HAPPY EVER APPSTER™ Daylilies

Common Name: Daylily

One of only a handful of truly everblooming daylilies, this little charmer blooms non-stop for about 3½ months straight beginning in mid-June in zone 7 or early July in zone 5.

Each 4", soft peachy yellow blossom with a large, rose pink eye, lemon throat, and romantically ruffled petals is of perfect form. You’ll be impressed with how quickly this daylily bulks up and unlike most daylilies that produce a single flower scape per fan, this one often produces several scapes per fan, making it extremely floriferous in the landscape.

Its short stature and continuous flower show makes this the perfect daylily for growing at the front of the border and in containers.

Daylilies can survive many harsh conditions that other plants cannot including: polluted city environments, slopes, poor and dry soils, near pavement that is salted in winter, and under Black Walnut trees (not affected by juglone).

Characteristics (Compared to Other Daylilies)
  • Midseason Bloomer, blooming in July.
  • Rebloomer, producing a second set of flowers.
  • Extended Bloom with flowers staying open at least 16 hours.
  • Dormant foliage.
  • Diploid with 22 chromosomes. Most plants are Diploids.
